On January 23, 2021, this theatrical piece quietly took place in a dome cinema in Wuhan. It was born out of the shared experience of living in Wuhan, the first city that encountered the COVID-19 pandemic in the world, and a city that needed to "memorialize to forget."

Differing from the overwhelming "anti-epidemic" art, this is a work that departs from "avoidance." We confront our own weaknesses as ordinary people, using the trivialities of our lives, which are not "on the front lines," to weave the temporal and spatial shapes of the past year. It reflects the images of Wuhan, China, and the world amid the catastrophe. We want to see what we are avoiding, what we remember, and what we are still searching for...

Within a framework of "post-dramatic theater," this piece combines absurd drama, science fiction, and performance art. In terms of the audience-performer relationship, it involves immersive experiences and interactive segments. Regarding media utilization, the premiere featured the use of a special dome screen imagery.

Performance documentary highlights

Where does our panic come from?

Where does our hope originate?

From where does our present come?

Where is our future heading?

We are consolidating the fragments of memory,

contemplating, reviewing, and delving deep.
