Tan Tan’s music style is a fusion of Experimental, Electro, Improvisation, and World Music.

Her music draws inspiration from the frequencies of the body and soul, ancient tribal melodies, and even the sounds of nebulae in the universe.

From 2005 to 2011, Tan Tan was active in Beijing’s underground music scene, performing at well-known venues such as Nameless Highland Bar, CD Cafe, Jiangjinjiu, and D22.

From 2012 to 2019, while living in Europe, she collaborated with various international musicians, exploring new music styles and experimenting with sound. Over the years, she performed with several bands, worked as an independent singer, and improvised with DJs at electro parties, embracing every influence that fueled her sonic universe.

For Tan Tan, being called a “musician” is less important than living with music in every corner of her life.
