Sound art
Tan Tan's music/sound creation overlaps her moving image works and performance art frequently, as she dedicates herself to the creation of intermedia art.
Over a decade, she composed many pieces of music and sound art for her films and artworks; meanwhile, her music/sound performances often involve performance art, theatre works, and moving image art.
Since 2015, she began to design music/sound for theatre works and participates in the shows.

Stop this Performance
At the 56th International Art Exhibition of Venice Biennale in 2015, Tan Tan joined a participatory performance voluntarily and interacted with the performers, but she was suddenly stopped by one of them. Tan Tan appreciated his performance, then she made his words into a hip-hop song.
Marx travels in Venice
Today, in the 21st century, Marx comes to the worldwide famous “tourist heaven” Venice with his “Das Kapital Oratorio”, but he didn’t imagine that his book would be read for 7 months on the stage of Venice Biennale!
